Seal Configurations and Material
Standard Seal Configuration
Consists of Nitrile Chevron Seals backed up with re-enforced teflon®2 (Molyglass) and with alloy steel spacer rings. Most seal units consist of a total of eight pairs of seals, four in either direction. This seal configuration is suitable for use in wellbores without H2S. Recommended temperature rating is from 38o C to 165o C (100o F to 330o F).
MV Seal Configuration
Consists of Viton®1 Chevron Seals backed up with re-enforced teflon®2 (Molyglass) with alloy steel spacer rings. Most seal units consist of a total of eight pairs of seals, four in either direction. This seal configuration is suitable for most environments, except for those containing amine based fluids or steam. Recommended maximum temperature rating is 204o C (400o F).
MASeal Configuration
Consists of Aflas®3 Chevron Seals backed up with re-enforced teflon®2 (Molyglass) with alloy steel spacer rings. Most seal units consist of a total of eight pairs of seals, four in either direction. This seal configuration is suitable for most environments. Recommended maximum temperature rating is 232o C (450o F).
RMC Seal Configuration
Consists of Chemraz®4 Chevron Seals backed up with re-enforced teflon®2 (Molyglass) backed up with Ryton®5 with alloy spacer rings. Most seal units consist of a total of six pairs of seals, three in either direction. This seal configuration is suitable for most high temperature hostile environments. Recommended maximum temperature rating is 260o C (500o F).
RMK Seal Configuration
Consists of Kalrez®6 Chevron Seals backed up with re-enforced teflon®2 (Molyglass) backed up with Ryton®5 with alloy spacer rings. Most seal units consist of a total of six pairs of seals, three in either direction. This seal configuration is suitable for most high temperature hostile environments. Recommended maximum temperature rating is 260o C (500o F).
