PRS Rotational Safety Joint
Description
The PRS Rotational Safety Joint allows positive release of the tubing string in completions where retrieval problems are anticipated. The Rotational Safety Joint is used between packers in multiple packer completions. It is also used when shear releasing is not desired. The Safety Joint is released with left or right hand rotation, depending on the model you require for your well conditions and tool string configuration. PRS Rotational Safety Joints are available in tubing sizes 60.3 mm (2 3/8”) through 114.3 mm (4 1/2”).
