Description
The Alpha Pak Liner Hanger Packer is a high performance packer designed for anchoring the liner to the casing string. An integral part of the PINN POINT Multi-Stage Simulation System, the Alpha Pak combines all of the reliable and time proven features of Pinnacle’s permanent packer line, but in a more robust design for liner applications. The Alpha Pak provides a reliable and secure liner anchoring point and high pressure annular isolation. The compact design aides in liner string flexibility and ensures reliable and trouble free deployment into wells with the most difficult profiles, while providing ease of handling and rig floor make up. A solid and reliable anchor point between the Alpha Pak Liner Hanger Packer and Anchor Seal Assembly is provided by an integral polished bore receptacle and latch profile.
The model specific Alpha Pak Hydraulic Setting Tool is used to set the Alpha Pak Liner Hanger Packer by applying pressure to the work string. Extreme differential pressure is held by a high performance packing element system. The Alpha Pak Liner Hanger Packer is rated for use in 177.8 mm (7”) casing at a full 69,000 kPa (10,000 psi) differential pressure. For severe environments, as well as higher differential pressure ratings, there are a wide variety of materials and seal configurations available.
