PE Expansion Joint
Description
The PE Expansion Joint is a swivel type expansion joint which will turn freely until fully extended or compressed. The PE Expansion Joint is normally run in conjunction with permanent or retrievable production packers. Full extension or compression engages a clutch which allows torque to be transmitted through the joint. Incorporation of a locking pin will allow the Expansion Joint to be locked in the fully compressed position while running or retrieving the joint.

Both the PC and PE Expansion Joints are available with several different seal materials to suit almost any application. As standard these Expansion Joints are manufactured from alloy steel, in accordance with NACE specification MR-01-75 for H2S service. Expansion Joints are also available in a variety of materials upon request. A.P.I. EUE tubing connections are standard on the PC and PE Expansion Joints with all common tubing connections available if ordered in advance.
